Selecting the right Chinese tutor in hongkong

The question of getting a tutor to learn Chinese is very common. Many people who want to learn the language either don’t know how to get started, or they need somebody to explain some new words and phrases about a particular topic. I’m not going into the proactive reasons for learning Chinese, like wanting to work in China (actually, that’s probably among the least of reasons since many people won’t really hire you), learning business Mandarin.

Many tutors will try to convince you that they are the best at what they do. Of course, this may or may not be true, but how do you know for sure? The only way is to test them out first hand.

The biggest pain point when hiring a chinese tutor hong kong is actually getting your money back if the teacher turns out to be crap. Some teachers take up too many students and find it hard to keep track of everything – one has to wonder whether they really need that kind of business model with its associated risks? Others might fly off as soon as somebody who can speak Cante walks through the door.

Of course, there are a lot of good tutors out there. However, if you find somebody who is really good, then it’s going to be hard for you to try other teachers – why would you want to?? So I guess the best way is always to start with somebody relatively unknown so that you have no strings attached and can walk away or seek another tutor at will from New Concept Mandarin.

Before this article becomes too long-winded from all the stories above, let’s get down to business. Choose an associated Chinese school that has a Cantonese-speaking teacher on sabbatical leave.
